Dear John,

I have a Beginners' tutorial and a little advanced version at my site http://www.webdevelopersnotes.com. The tutorials were written for Flash 4.0 but still hold good (in most parts) for Flash 5.0 and Flash MX. Atleast they explain the drawing tools, tweening, etc. a shade better than the "help" that comes along with the program.

Thanks and regards,
Manish (www.simplygraphix.com)
