Default Website actionscript help please!!

Hi,

I relatively new at using flash. I am currently developing a website and I am having some difficulty over my navigation. Is it possible to action script a website to pause at a certain point and wait until a command from the user. Once the user clicks on a button to load another page (scene), it runs the end off the current scene and loads the page (scene) the user requests. I have been looking, but can't seem to find any tutorials to help. Please can some one let me know how to make this work. Many thanks.

Default

For example. You have a page open and you want it to fade out when a button is clicked before the new window loads...

Set each button to go to a new frame within the movie. Example: the main page loads and ends on frame 25. Place a stop action on frame 25. On frame 28, start the close of that page leading to another page of the site. Use script to tell the button to GoToandPlay frame 28. At the end of the frame set, actionscript in the GoToandPlay to open the next scene. Do that for each button.

If you are going to have a lot of information, then look at having the navigation in the main movie and use loadMovie and unloadMovie scripts to open page movies with the main movie screen instead of using scenes.
