Default Flash loading

I have 2 questions:

:-)

How do you make a loading bar in an swf load only one scene, or the desired frames, at a time. Like, I don't want this site i'm making for someone to load all at the beggining, but i want it so when you go to "clients" or "about" it only loads that scene.

My second question is does anyone know how to make a flash file smaller, without paying for some program to make the quality go down. One the levels for my Flash game is like 20 MB!!! (the swf) the reason it's so huge is it's a "choose your own adventure" type of game. There's about 100 different 30 frame animations.

Default Make them seperate files

sounds like you should make each scene a seperate swf and then create a preloader to manage the files as you navigate through the site.... this is the most efficient way to manage size.
PreLoader consists of loading and unloading movie functions and maybe a loading bar if nessisary.

Default passing variables

there are many fine ways to pass variables, deepending on what kind of information you need to pass will determine your method, what kind of information to you need to pass from page to page?

Default hey

if you want to you can e-mail me, i need to know your framework? are you just using flash? or are you using other things as well. how are the points needed throughout the site, if you have one variable that gets passed from page to page it should be a simple solution. i'd be happy to help you with this, maybe i can direct you to some nice tutorials if your not comfortable just implienting these techniques. are you using professional?
