Default 3D Flash components/clips

I decided to offer a free 3D flash library if any flashers would like some free downloads. i did this for several reasons- one was to take advantage of my site name having 'flash' in it - i get a lot of site searches flash specific. Another reason is that I learnt flash mainly from open source fla's, and it is a way to return the favour. Also I am using Maya to create an offline project (animated video production) and I have a helluva lot of unused 3D clips - no reason for them to stay silent on the hard drive. I also have a lot of stock footage (quicktime) but that is a project for later.

Anyway, enjoy these downloads. Most won't be suitable for web work due to a larger file size (they can be edited however), but perfect for video/animated productions (using Quicktime, Final Cut Pro, Xpress etc.) or for presentations (powerpoint).

I'll be adding many more clips over the next few months (when I have the time).

Enjoy!

Jeremy,
Thanks for the offer to our forum members. I will have to go and check out your clips soon.

Thanks again, I appreciate your contributions.

Default Thanks

Thanks. I hope if fills a nich at least. When I started doing animation (non-web stuff) I needed specific scenes (such as a swallow flying around a statue - but through the eyes of the swallow). It seemed impossible to find renderings in flash of 3D models, such as interesting buildings etc. I built my own, but have now discovered maya's flash export ability. It also helps that there are thousands of free models out there for maya. Hopefully I will be able to provide some simple models for scenes (suh as rooms and various views) enabling others to quickly set up scenes for animatics, storyboards etc.) or those who love to use flash as a digital film tool.

Anyway - I've got work to do!!!
