Scroll down the left side fo the page over there, to where it says "Flash" and try your question there. You'll probably get the results you seek a bit quicker there.

Java implementation DrawSWF is freeware. It outputs both SWF and the SVG formats. As ver 1.2.7 it is stable, requires the Java engine be installed ( JS2E 1.4.2 here), and looks like it will become powerful and useful around version 5.
Of course there's Swish, but there is also Koolmoves and Selteco Flash Designer - each at $39.95.

Hi,
Try Sothink SWF Quicker, which is only $49.99.

Powerbullet Presenter, holds a lot of promise for the future (current ver 1.35). Right now good for a quick, simple, presentation, ads, etc.

Another suggestion
Coffee Cup offers a product called Firestarter. It's $49.95 but there's a free trial download. I haven't tried it yet--just getting into Flash. Powerbullet is excellent for simple effects, but I need a little more (want to replace my expensive SitePal avatar), so I'm downloading this Coffeecup one now. Will report when I've had a chance to check it out.

CoffeeCup
Well, I've tried the demo copy of CoffeeCup. It has some neat effects for banners, but when I tried to build a "movie", the software froze on me several times. Very disappointing, because it seemed pretty straightforward.

Powerbullet and Selteco
Now that I've worked a little with Powerbullet, I'm finding it's really almost as good as Selteco Flash Designer. Certainly adequate for simple presentations like banners.
The nice thing is that they're incredibly easy to learn! Like a simple graphics program. I've always avoided Flash, but now I can say yes if a client asks if I can do something for them!

Hey,
I'm testing SWF Quicker. It is easier than Flash to make flash movies. Really cool! Is there anyone trying that?
