Default 301 redirect for AudioBible.com ?

I had my website graded and got this message below.

Do I need to have a 301 redirect between the www and regular domain names for my website?

Permanent Redirect Not Found

Search engines may think (audiobible.com) and (www. audiobible.com) are two different sites. You should set up a permanent redirect (technically called a "301 redirect") between these sites. Once you do that, you will get full search engine credit for your work on these sites.

Are search engines looking at my site as 2 different places? Am I loosing Page Rank or search engine positioning?

Google would recommend doing so.

PageRank? Probably not. Google handles this case fairly well.

Older search engines vary in their handling on this point - it's best to just 301 all traffic to one of the two rather than letting others' software decide which (or both?) to serve up.
