hello, as a b2b webiste which is buying information centered, we now add on line bidding system to our site. what do you think about on line bidding system's role and its prospect in e-commerce development. i have browsed a lot of b2b sites and found no similar sites with on line bidding system. wish you can share your ideas.

I wonder why no-one has replied to you. Such system would be very useful as an addition for an e-commerce system. Some of our customers have inquired for such feature, however I believe there are no out-of-box e-commerce packages that include it by default.

What have you chosen? Have you created your own system or incorporated one of existing scripts?

thanks for your reply. what do you mean by "no out-of-box e-commerce packages that include it by default.". this on line bidding system is developed by our own staffs.

Just i do not know e-commerce packages that do have bidding functionality included by default.

The system you have created is very interesting and promising. If you could provide more details about it, that would be great - is it used alone or can it be integrated with other solutions? What are its advantages? Any details you consider to be important.

this on line bidding system actually is designed in the hope of helping our users because we think users (mainly buyers) can benifit a lot from the system. what is your suggestions.

I am not to argue here, I totally agree that such system would be very useful for customers on-line. If you could provide more details about the system that would be helpful. I mean - is this a system that works separately from any other applications? Does it require any integration with sites/e-commerce stores? I think the idea is great actually.

There are online cigar vendors that use a bidding engine. CBID is one of them, JR Cigars has another.
