Default Exporting XML orders to a CSV format

Hi All

I currently have a Ecommerce store with Network Solutions (Monster), and they are currently migrating to a newer version of their software. In the old version, we were able to export our orders in its entirety to our DacEasy accounting system...which is an XML format converting to a CSV. With this new version, they don't have that capability anymore which leaves us handwriting the orders and typing them into our accounting system. Anyone have a solution for me...maybe a third party software or something? They are migrating us soon, so I need to find a remedy. Help!!

Thanks a bunch,
AJ

How would you be retrieving orders in the new system? Will there be a method for retrieving a list of the orders since your last retrieval in XML format? Or are XML files generated for each order?

I don't know much about the company, but this looks interesting: A7Soft xml2csv is a freeware command line tool to convert XML to CSV

AJ,

MS-Excel can be an excellent "data pump" to translate disparate data sources. Here's a link on how to use Excel for importing and exporting XML. You can use Excel to import/export to .CSV, too. Although a two-step process, it beats re-keying the data.

HOW TO: Import and Export XML in Excel

As you can see, you can automate this with some light programming (Excel Visual Basic for Applications ), too.

If I misunderstood your steps, let me know.
