Default Please help to integrate php/aspx/asp shopping cart

Hi,

This is alien to me :) so please forgive my lack of knowledge. I'd like a shopping cart that has the following features: Keeps a running total of products purchased on the web page, creat account and log in account/ Saved cart. I have no idea what any of this means or whether is should be in aspx or php? I've been told that php is more secure? I currently use mal's ecommerce and use worldpay for customer transactions.

Can anyone help me incorporate a shopping cart into my website?

Many Thanks,

Karen

Hello. Are you wanting to change from using Mal's E? I will not get into the debate over PHP, ASP, .NET - that would not be appropriate. Every programmer has his/her preference. Usually if you are on UNIX, you use PHP / MySQL. And if you are on Windows, you use ASP or .NET with MS Access / MSSQL.

You can check out www.spidersales.com for one ASP cart. They will also give you some development time.

But first check with your hosting company to see what language(s) they support.

GBP? Forgive this native Texan :) Are you talking about pounds? It really does not matter what shopping cart you choose - you will put your price in there.

Since you are on Windows, you can use ASP. I have dealt with Dimi at Spider Sales before, he might be able to help you out.
