Default Protecting Consumers

Well, I was in one of my rant moods again.

Merchants Protect Consumers

Online merchants really do need to do their due diligence in effort to not only protect themselves, but their customers. Don't assume that just because a bank issues an approval for a transaction that everything is good. Doing so can cost you dearly.

Yep, this is true, I have had payments reversed after sending goods out. Bank states this can only happen for a couple of days, but with Paypal, at any time, hence with paypal at least, I never accept payment from unverified addresses, as if you do, it can be reversed and nothing you can do.

This has really been a "bur under my saddle" for a long time. Banks placing the onus on merchants, especially online, for information they could easily verify but choose not too. The whole "Not my job, not my fault" simply to avoid any sort of responsibility or liability.

As far as PayPal is concerned...

Finally, PayPal Alternative
