Unhappy Is our checkout process messed up?

Hi,
My name is Wil and I am the webmaster at Skateboard Shoes, Skateboard Shop and Surf Shop your source for skate and surf at Asylum Board Shop . I have been working on the site for about 6 months now and have seen barely a trickle of income from it.

To my best knowledge the site is laid out fairly decent, it looks good and our prices are very fair, if not low.

My question is, why no sales?

Thanks in advance and I hope to hear from you soon.

Wil W.

Well is the traffic conducive to sales? Have you done AdWords to test out the sales process at all to see if the problem is during the shopping cart experience?

The traffic is mainly targeted traffic from google results. Users would search for a specific product "Nike SB P Rod 2 shoes black" or something like that and they'd land on the product page.

We did adwords for a while but it was eating into the bank account too much.

We get ALOT of shopping cart abandonment per day. Over the process of a day we probably have 100 carts that are ready to check out but maybe 1 or 2 actually buy the products.

We've tested numerous times with numerous credit cards in the office and everything works PERFECT.

Do you see any red flags that would make a user run away with their tail between their legs?

remove "win a skateboard package "

You Do not want buyers to leave the page where the product they want to buy without adding something to their cart.

Put that button on the top of the website.

Rest of checkout is not bad
