Default Adding Google checkout to payment options

Presently, my customers input the shipping and billing information and then they select their payment option on my checkout page and then click my 'continue with order' button. if they select PayPal, the site forwards them on to PayPal.

It looks like Google checkout does NOT work that way. It looks like you have one checkout path for Google checkout and another path for regular transactions, like credit cards, PayPal, and checks.

Am I see things correctly?

Hopefully NOT.....

Please give me some feedback..................thanks.

Default Re: Adding Google checkout to payment options

That's pretty much correct. It completely bypasses your current checkout. You would use an API to get the transaction information back from Google after your customer completed payment. You can also setup paypal similarly to this. It's called express checkout, but unlike google, paypal shoppers do come back to your website. I highly recommend the express checkout method for paypal regardless of whether you use GCO or not.
