Default Multiple Stores

Hi everyone! New guy here. I stumbled on this forum (and the wealth of knowledge!) thanks to Google

My question is this: I'm looking for a backend that will handle multiple sellers, similar to Ebay Express.

1. It'd need to have one to 5 logins (I'm capable of adding to the code if necessary) for Administrator access
2. It'd need to support multiple stores from multiple users, all controlled by the users but overseeable by Admin
3. It'd be PHP or CFM based preferably.
4. It'd have capability to sell product AND support software downloads

That's the basics. I've not found anything with this type of functionality and I've just about resigned myself to
the awful truth that I'll be coding it myself, which makes my fingers ache just thinking about it, LOL!

Default Re: Multiple Stores

OSCommerce has a module for multi-store setup that has recently been pretty well overhauled. At least the coding wouldn't be too painful if you needed minor mods...

osCommerce Community Add-Ons

We've found it pretty easy to modify the basic stuff and the community is good.

You may check X-Cart multi-vendor package. They have interesting restriction, though - all payments from the whole system go to sinlge merchant account. But may be, that's exactly the control you want over your vendors
