Default eCommerce + CMS

My business partner and I have been trying to find a CMS that has a good ecommerce module. So far, we have found nothing that will live up to the standards of our clients.

Here are our requirements, if anyone can recommend a CMS that can do this, we would greatly appreciate it. If this does not exist, please let me know if you are interested in building one with us.

1) Design side is completely CSS/XHTML ready
2) Integrated shipping APIs such as UPS, FedEX, USPS, etc.
3) Integrated payment APIs such as Auth.net, Paypal, etc.
4) Product inventory management
5) All of the features of a CMS such as Wordpress or Expression Engine

Thanks!

No, I dont think any CMS has all the features you want. You might want to work with some web development firms to do it for you

'CMS Made Simple' is a great CMS and a community member has developed a simple shopping cart system using paypal, you can find it searching the forum. It may be a good starting point if you are after a base on which to build.

richkoi - I write sites using joomla, virtuemart, oscommerce, zen cart.... I implemented virtuemart with joomla. For free, I converted those 2 sites to oscommerce, so I wouldn't have to work with virtuemart. It's fine if you don't customize it. Nightmare if you do.

oscommerce, zencart, that family, that's a specialty. As soon as content management people venture into ecommerce they're outside of their core knowledge.

I integrate the look and feel so the joomla and oscommerce designs are the same. On the back end, if this is important, you can share data with some custom programming. If you're doing email marketing it's important.

Other than the email/user name/shopper integration, I don't think a cms ecommerce package is worth it.

I've also heard good things about the joomla + virtumart ecom compatibility and capabilities if CMS/ecom is the need.
