Multi-vendor shopping cart

I've been hutning for ages to find a solution that works in the same way as Amazon, in that an Admin controls one central database and it allows vendors to sell that item at the own price using a the central product database and checkout system.

To date I've only found one solution like it http://www.smartwin.com.au/cybermall.htm Firstly it's very ugly, secondly it's not that easy to use as a vendor.

Does anyone know of any further options ??

Bugmall at bugmall.com is not too bad, but the mall edition is $2,000....

I've been searching for 2 years for a realistic multi-vendor solution that doesn't cost major $$$.

What I finally settled on was ClickCartPro, with customization work done to make it multi-vendor with an integrated cart for all products from all stores, and it calculates each product's shipping cost using the shipping that each vendor uses (which is different for each, some use UPS, some USPS, some FedEx). It cost a bit but it seems ok so far......I'm still in testing mode.
