Default Early Birds Should Sleep In On Black Friday

Maybe it's best for everyone involved if there were more of those crazy deals online.

Black Friday shoppers avoided much of the insanity by going online.

I was invited to come along on one of these before-dawn adventures. Judging from their trip, it was fortunate that I declined.

Article here.

Well, I for one, intend to do my shopping online. But I think the advantages of the early morning thing is they have limited time offers that start at like 6 am and are done by like 9, and everything gets snatched up right away, so you have to make sure you get there if it is something you really want. I wish they would make more of the offers available online!

Default i agree

I definitely think online retailers should more aggressively push some deals online to spare the madness of getting up and waiting in line and fighting...I know that part of the idea is to get people in the store so they'll buy other stuff as well..maybe they could, if you bought online, give paired offerings, if you buy this digital camera, we'll thow in this laptop at a huge discount...

Yeah, I agree. I mean, don't they think that they will have even more customers when they can lay back in bed with their laptops and a cup of coffe and place orders, than those people who camp out in tents in the cold for days in front of the stores?
