Age Verification Software

Hello, does anyone know of a simple, inexpensive age verification company?

I own an online cigar retailer and need to verify age at the time of checkout. I just need to add this feature to my current shopping cart. I checked out Id Response, but they charge $.38 per transaction. Way too high, it's just a simple Month and year tool to verify age.

About the cheapest I had heard of was $.50. I think it is very expensive to integrate with any National database that allows checking this information. Because of that, and the actual difficulty in integrating with their systems, it isn't going to be cheap no matter what you find.
