Default Putting the word "google" in the keywords section.

What if I were to put the word google in the meta tag on one of my product pages, will it help? Or will it hurt?

Most search engines ignore the meta tags, especially the keywords tag because it has been used so much for spam. In theory, though, it might hurt if a keyword is in the meta tag but not the body of the page - a search engine might see that as spam.

It would only help if your page was about Google. Otherwise, it's not a good idea to "stuff" keywords into your page anywhere that aren't appropriate.
