Amazon released a couple of service in beta today that might prove useful for small and medium sized online retailers struggling with the logistics of running an online business.
The company has made it so that retailers can send their products to be stored at an Amazon warehouse, for a fee, and use Amazon's shipping prices as part of the deal. Also, they released WebStore in beta, a service where Amazon will provide a branded website connected with Amazon for a commission and a monthly fee. This is good for online retailers who spend too much time with these details and not enough time on marketing and promotion (or other important parts of growing a business). It may also force eBay to step up to the plate and offer something similar. Article here.

There are other options out there as well for warehouse and order fulfillment that work with paypal and existing merchant shopping carts (if they don't want to use Amazon for everything or have existing stores deployed).
