Interchange shopping cart help

Am I the only one who finds Interchange a little bit confusing at first?

I just installed it on my webserver and I've got no idea where to start customizing the templates for the shopping cart pages, in addition to configuring payment, shipping, etc.

Any help? The documentation on Interchange's website was not helpful. It seems to be geared towards the tech junkie.

I've got experience using Miva Merchant though.
