Default Protect access to wholesale pages

My client makes jams/jellies, etc. and has wholesale and retail buyers. They want their website to have a regular shopping cart for retail sales, and a password protected shopping cart for the wholesale buyers. How do I do this?

On another note, I'm planning on using Charge.com for this website. I'm undecided about what host to use. I've been using godaddy.com recently but not convinced they are who I should use for this site. Any suggestions/recommendations?

As long as you have your wholesale products in a different directory, you should check out http://www.freewebmasterhelp.com/tutorials/htaccess/3 (found by Google, read it real quick, should be easy enough). If you don't have them in a different directory, this won't work (but I'm sure someone else will have an answer for you).

As for hosting, I don't have any answers for you. I use VoxDomains.com, and haven't had too many problems with them, but if you do have a problem, customer support is a little slow :(.

Default Check out ecommercetemplates.com

It allows you to set different prices for retail and wholesale and only those logged in can view the wholesale prices.

Might be what you're looking for..

Otherwise as suggested just protect with htaccess
