Rent a Car Shopping Cart

Hello,

Can anybody guide me to choose the right solution for a client, that has as rent a car business.
I have to choose between a proven solution, open source or propietary, or in-house php programmed solution.

Does anybody know any GPL/Open Source shopping cart for rental products? If there aren't, can you point me to a pay solution, with the rent a car destination in mind?

Hi, I use a script which is written and sold by, funnily enough, a Romanian company.

I run a boat, a car and an apartment rentals site using the same base script

and it works perfectly for all. It has eCommerce capabilities and all sorts. You wont get access to the code, but they do any mods you need doing inhouse very reasonable.

I recommend them highly

gotta love those romanians... one of my e-commerce scripts came from russia...
