Wait a minute...you didn't realize that buying the products would cost money? Where the heck did you think you were going to get the products from?

Anyway, the easiest way would be to apply for a credit card. As long as you've got proof of income, you should be able to get one. For $5000, I don't know. But you should get something.

Also, try looking into government grants. That's often cheap and easy money.

I agree with looking for grants. There are a ton of government programs to help business startups. Also, if you have a good bank or credit union, they often will give you an unsecured loan which can be a great alternative to a credit card.

I looked on the U.S. governments web site and it said that they do not give grants to start small businesses. Although every other site says they do, except the actual government site, haha. Ya, I'm not sure about a credit card, I have one but the spending limit is $1500, which is not much. I also am only 20 and am wondering which would be the easiest option to obtain money. I don't currently have a job, I have about $2000 in the bank, and I need about $5000 or less to buy some products. I'm thinking about asking relatives but im not sure if they will take me seriously, any advice? thanks

Default Advice?

What I did was went and found someone that carried the products already and partnered with them. Maybe you could do something similar. There are a lot of smaller, local businesses that don't have a website that would love a risk-free way to get a website.
