Default special shopping cart

I have been looking for a special shopping cart I have seen some close to what I want but they lack 1 or more crucial options.
I’m looking for a cart system that allows.
Admin created seller accounts (sellers can add and remove their own products from a easy to use back end account)
Unlimited items categories accounts sellers ect..
Advanced shipping methods with custom options ie. Private shipping company.
Varity of payment options.
Customizable interface and graphics for store front.

Those are the most crucial points which must all be present.

I was and maybe still will develop my own back end system but I figured if I can find something that is already in place that can cover my current needs then I will examine that possibility first.

I’m really looking for the terminators equivalent of shopping carts if it is around or costs and development times for custom.

A Special Shopping Cart ? LOL

I think the hardest part you're looking for is Admin created seller accounts
Have you had a look at x-cart? I think the pro version may fit what you need. A bit pricey though

Are you looking for an ASP or a PHP solution? Do the sellers need to have their own merchant account or will they use yours? Will they use their own Paypal account or yours?

Ether

Do the sellers need to have their own merchant account or will they use yours?
They need their own with restricted functionality set by the admin

Will they use their own Paypal account or yours?
All payments will be processed through the admin paypal may be one payment option I am trying my hardest to get a bank to agree to interact purchases.

Cyanide suggestion on x-cart is a good base for all of the features I am looking for but I need some ie. customs off of it I am waiting to here what such modifications will cost. It looks like it might cost a bit judging by their hour sheets and the basic software costs of 846.20 inc the add-ons I need then the customization cost witch as I said I’m waiting for that quote.

I have an advanced PHP programmer that is willing to provide the software on a future commission bases but their development time is becoming increasingly unexcitable. The site needs to be fully functional before it’s lunch date for the sighing or merchants.

Some advanced features beyond x-cart complete function include.
Custom local private shipping methods biased off size and weight and what delivery window from 1 hour rush to overnight economies.

Dual products that overlap by merchant and product. The merchants have their store front and are the only ones that can access that but their products are double listed in the product lists ie. Bobs toy store only lists his products but his toys are also listed in toys- boys (or whatever) to their appropriate categories with all other stores jums world of tows, toy mania ect whatever.

Easy of use for vendors to use this has to be very simple for them to add products with simple functions that are applicable only to their account as set by the admin.

This system has to handle 1000’s of stores listing a verity of products.

This is not a one time implication this will be a multi ongoing project.

You might check out http://www.crafty-ones.net. Their cart allows for multiple merchants - currently it does use one merchant account connected to the LinkPoint gateway & each merchant uses their own Paypal account but that can easily be fixed. I know they are going to be adding more features within a few months
