Default Which shoppingcart do you recommend?

There are a vast number of third party shopping cart software out there, and I am trying to decide which to use.

I would like to use PHP and MySQL, and I have been looking at digiShop http://digishop.sumeffect.com which seems to be a pretty good alternative as it has the required functionality.

Which recommendations do you have? Proper functionalities, features and allowing 100% design customization is a must.

Thank you in advance.

Best choice in my opinion is www.applepiecart.com. Helps you acquire customers with ease through built-in search engine friendly content management system, built-in affiliate program, and lots of other features that help you acquire customers with ease.

Also has a built-in editor so you have full control over the design. Since you´re a programmer, you will also like the possibility to design your own things for in the site.

Regards,

Peter

Thanks Peter for your response. It seems to be a good alternative, which I will read the details of.

I usually recommend Oscommerce, but knowledge of php is helpful. Although I haven't tried x-cart, it looks pretty good
