I am with value web right now and have a dedicated server with windows 2003 web server. My server was done for almost 2 hours and they won't refund anything on my account. Can anyone recommend a hosting company that will provide me the following:
1. Dedicated Server 2. Shared Sql Server Database not mysql 3. Windows Platform Any help? |

Several important things come into play here
What kind of budget do you have? Are knowledgeable in administering the server or do you need the host to do it for you? Do you need a control panel? -if so, what's your preference? What did you mean by "My server was done for almost 2 hours" |

Hello,
I think he meant, "My server was down for 2 hours".. Almost every hosting company has some sort of SLA agreement of 99.5% and up. However, With 2 hours of straight downtime may seem like alot but SLA agreements are based on the total downtime over the period of 1 month. So even though you had 2 hours of downtime, no hosting company or dedicated server company will give you a refund with 2 hours of downtime becuse they have managed to stay within the boudries of thier SLA Agreement.. Unless you are willing to pay much higher pricing than a valueweb server, You will more than likely have downtime sooner or later with any budget server host like ev1servers.com, serverbeach.com and so on.
