Negotiating the selling price of a domain..

Sedo contacted me about a domain we have registered,
and said they have a perspective buyer for it.

We are willing to sell the domain, which is an active site.. for the right price.

The questions I have are valuation and process.

They made an offer..
the offer they made covers the costs associated with the domain..
but I don't want to be overly eager.. since I am sure there is wiggle room..

What is a good counter offer? 2x of the initial? etc..

Any insight would be appreciated

Wow - it really depends. You can safely assume that the prospective buyer is willing to pay more than the initial offer. Ask for more than you are willing to settle for. If you are willing to settle for 150% of their offer, then yes - offer to sell for 200% of their offer.
