Default Hosting Domains for Sale To Get Past Sandbox

Is it worth setting up a cheap hosting account for domains that are for sale in order to get them past the dreaded Google sandbox? My thought was to write a page for each domain like the intended target domain buyer's business so that the page can start getting indexed for keywords.

Will that create enough value to offset the cost of holding the domain?

Are there threads on this topic elsewhere?

No, I wouldn't bother doing that. Focus on getting more links to your site to get past the "sandbox" or consider buying a domain that's already indexed.

Assuming that the domains are not getting alot of traffic at the moment I would say it is worth setting up a hosting account ( In fact I lease a dedicated server mainly for this purpose ).
In general a domain that has a relevant site rather than just parked will fetch a better price, it also does help to get it indexed and makes getting links to it much easier. Another advantage is that you have access to visitor logs, so you can see where your visitors are coming from and what they are looking for in greater detail than most parking programs. This can help with negotiating a sale as well, as you can provide the potential buyer with more information.

Just my opinion.

All the best.

Richard
