Default Dumb question? Mystery domain activity

I use domaintools.com to monitor several domains I manage. Today I got a notice on one that I don't understand.

The old "value" was this:

CLIENTDELETEPROHIBITED /
CLIENTTRANSFERPROHIBITED /
CLIENTUPDATEPROHIBITED / REGISTRAR-LOCK

The new value:

REGISTRAR-LOCK

This domain isn't set to expire till 2008. I guess this domain change isn't a big deal, but can anyone tell me what it means? My registrar is making subtle changes?

If someone "requests" a domain name to be transferred to them, and the real owner doesn't pay attention to the "someone wants your domain" messages sent to them, then mayhem can ensue as the domain can be transferred (I believe).

Requesting that your domain registrar locks the domain means that only you can agree to a transfer to a new owner or new registration service. Some registrars offer this service free, others charge for it.

.. I think!
