.EU Domains and What they are worth

Its fast approaching the April 7th Landrush for .EU domains. What does everyone on the forum think of them? Do you think they will be worth alot?

I just scooped up a bunch of domain names for the new .eu extension. I randomly read an article the day they were released to the public and because I'm a Scottish citizen, I was able to buy them. I picked up a lot of travel oriented domains, some football domains, mortgage domains, and of course www.petsell.eu.

Who knows if they'll take off but the EU definitely believes in it and this isn't just another .to or .cc domain extension. This is as strong as a .co.uk in my opinion, if not stronger. So for $15 a piece, it's worth a shot. And who knows, maybe a new name will bring about a new idea/project.

Yes deinately worth buying for that price I picked up 7 I had my name down for about 60 but they were are pretty competitive ones.

I lived in Edinburgh for a while, my father is from Ayr. I have family all over, including the Isle of Skye, Dundonald, Banchory, etc...
