Default More ebay selling - Domains en espanol

A new doman seller has joined the players list at ebay, and I know we have one or two members that would find it interesting as the ne seller has a number of very good spanish language domains for sale.

Not the usual garbage on ebay
como falda.com y otras.

Cool, glad to have helped. I am an eBay hawk, always lurking there when not selling, and the domain market is filled with posers. Not many who make large quantity sales, but the ones making regular sales generally are very confused about what is a good name and what is a gimmick and worthless one.

You had a ton of very sharp spanish ones.
Perhaps 'Janeth' would like to see your spanish name domains as she works 'con domains en espanol' more than most, and you had some top end names.

I want to learn about ebay domain selling. I have never posted a domain on ebay and I know I am not operating on all cylinders... Or with ebay in most cases its just domain promoting but that ok with me. All exposure is good so they find you when they need a domain in your arena.

Feehits
- Is this your store..?

http://stores.ebay.com/TargetDomain-com-Domain-Names

Should I feature my names with store like this. Is it a hassle. Is it free? Do the names dissappear after a while..?

Sorry so many dumb ebay questions but I have kinda avoided domain biz on ebay since I heard its very hard to get any good money - But I'd take the exposure platform.

Not my store, but a pretty good one. There are about 2-3 selers of worth on ebay....as in they dont think every piece of pop keyword garbage is worth 10K....but have good compound word domains that sell at 20-100 all the time. I generally buy old ones or cheap ones on ebay...for sellers the profit margin is close to nothing, volume is the only way to survive. For exposure you should not so much bother with a store, but have one close on Friday, Sat and Sunday at 12pm EST (california is the biggest shopper). Each of these should be a no resevre, start at 9$ free godaddy push. Then on the site itself I would put the message this page for sale on EBAY, we also have a list here......LINK.

This should send alot of shoppers through your site to see you list all weekend, and you only need 3 auctions per week to do it.

Is it possible to have a "permanent" store or listing page..?

Can you link to one of your pages as an example. I would like to see how you do it. Or PM.

Hi all,

OK I try to resume why and for what I set up the Ebay store:
1) Get rid quickly of some unwnated domains (via auction)
2) Get exposure for the rest of my names for sale (as "buy now"/"make offer" option)
3) Get exposure for my reseller www.TargetDomain.com

A basic Ebay shop is 9$ a month, and a shop listing is 0.04 cents incl. subtitle each 30 days. So not that expensive concerning the return i get.
Listings are easyly uploaded via "Turbo Lister", so there is no real hassle.

OK, no something regarding Ebay domain auctions:
a) Its difficult to get ppl to bid (exept the snipers at auction end)
b) It's difficult to make ppl find you (also SE indexing is quite well for Ebay shops)

So some golden rules if you wanna make some money on domain auctions:
Promote your auction outsite Ebay.
- Try adwords (depending on the domain, some keywords are dirt cheap)
- Try direct marketing
- Forums etc....
Within Ebay:
- Listing a domain outside the domains categoy (as 2nd) give sometimes good results (Of course category should fit the domain meaning).

If you have a real premium domain, and want top sell it via Ebay make shure to set a reserve price ;)

OK, and here is my secret domain reseller TIP if you need exposure, revenue, content, SE links, etc....
Goto www.1plus.net and set up a account.
You get:
Domain parking with related CONTENT and your OWN HTML codes (Ad sense, Adbrite or watever HTML).
See an example here www.VoteArnold.com

Good insight and truths, I hated turbo lister back in the days of using is, I then changed to ebay selling manager pro, and just forked over the money for that. I know you cant afford to pay them for their selling manager service with such small margins.

To have prepared banner space or ad space that you can update from one location for new auctions would be smart. So next time you sell. "buyjunk.com", you can swap out one include file and have the banners and links on 10 sites you run switch to "buyjunk.com is for sale!" banners and ads. I also always used a custom this page and other for sale landing page to put on domains currently for sale.

Dont forget to put affiliate links for domain grabbing software on those pages too to get those domain hunters as shoppers while they look.
