Default 2 Domains 1 Website!!!

Hello every1,

I have a question for everyone here, can we launch one website on two different domains. I mean is it a cool/normal practice or is it taken as a spam practice.
Lets take an example, the name of my website is say abc and my website is launched on two different domains say www.abc.com & www.abc.org.uk. This one site on 2 different domains is even different from each other in respect to the content and layout present on it.
So, can I go ahead. Actually one of my website version has been online for a long period and it enjoys a good page rank and I dont feel like putting it offline now. As said before it is TOTALLY different from the new (other)version in respect of content, layout, designing even Domain
What do you say????

My site is seperated, I have had no problems.

In fact everytime I take a step towards getting sections on to a the single site the search engines penalise me.

Sir,

Can you please explain me what did you mean by saying
"In fact everytime I take a step towards getting sections on to a the single site the search engines penalise me." Should I take it as a risky business to create site on different domains.
Please clear the point to me...

There is no problem in having 2 domains with the same content. In fact many companies, have a main website and re-direct all their other domains to their main website.
