Hey everyone,
What's the best way to acquire a domain name that is currently registered? Is it a good idea to send the current owner an offer? How about backordering? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks - Jeremy |

If it is a 'good name' I would start by going dorectly to the owner if possible..
If you let it go to expire before trying to buy it you will be fighting with a lot of other people trying to do exactly as you are doing.. They all place bids and wait to see which one goes through first the instant the domain becomes available..

Meet the owner of the site and negotiate about the price if the domain name is generic.
