Default Age of your domain for sale

I think in light of what has changed in the SEO world, if you are posting a domain for sale you should post the Date first registered, as age is becoming important to many buyers who intend to use the URL.

other information like PR and backlinks, and any relevent current rankings should be added in your best interest as well.

I think archive.org provide full history of a domain.

I dont think I have ever been asked the age of one of my domains and quite frankly I would tell them to check the whois as that is what I would need to do as I dont know the ages of my domains.
PR really makes no difference to me when buying or selling either. Nor do backlinks.

The name, comprehensive traffic stats and revenue are the 3 things I MUST have. At least when spending over $xxxx.xx
If I am spending $xxx I wouldnt care too much about the revenue and the stats could be crappy webalizer or something.

One thing I dont like are when people tout their alexa rankiong of 555,555 or whatever. Useless info really.

Just my .02

both responses basicall say people go go "figure it out" but since these facts are common knowledge to the current owner, the point is to post them.

When I see posts asking about the value of "etc etc etc", these factors we all mention generally mean alot more than the name if the doain has been around for awhile.

And If im buying a used domain, I want it to be 1-2 years old or more with sandbox issues.

While hits and searched term is the most important, PR is not useless if it is high.

If I have a real estate PR 6 site for sale for $20 would anyone care what the name is? When on ebay PR6 links sell for that much monthly.

So not important maybe, useless not yet, not when they are of value to some link traders, even if not you.
