Default It sold for WHAT...? Yeah how much.

Is there a good source/site for finding out what domains actually sell for. I know sedo lists a short list of recent successful transactions. Anything else..? Since these are private and often top-secret business transactions I take that there is no official record keeping like with real estate.

Robert,

You can see a list of weekly top domain sales at:
http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm

In addition, afternic.com also has a daily list of names sold on their site.

Default Some Sales Appear "Internal"

Great link and resource; thanks!

I've had what I thought, obviously subjective, some hot domain names and watch anxiously for months as domains went for vast amounts more at domain resellers. I thought I'd hit pay dirt with http://www.taxhelpsite.com and listed it right away; four months ago, not a single bite.

I tend to question some of the prices and actual transactions taking place of some of the resellers. When you view profiles and history, they seem to be bought internally allowing the site to boast about a boosted sale.

Default Yeah great resource thanks

Yeah, great resource - About the skepticims of reality of some of those, especially privately sold ones. I second that. What up with the 3 versions of download.com mispelled ones for 60 some thou each. (not even that great mispelled versions) You can buy an awful lot of quality NEW traffic for 180K.

But again Great resource. Site is bookmarked and will be kept an eye on.
Thanks.
