Recently Sold Domain Name

It's been awhile since I've posted here, but wanted to share a recent domain sale.

I recently sold a VoIP domain name for $500 on AfterNIC. So for all of you wondering if people are still interested in buying domains...they are if they have some marketing potential.

The odd thing is that I have another VoIP domain name that gets significantly higher search requests than the one that sold and the buyer wasn't interested.

AfterNIC has seemed to be the only site that seems to get results for me. Has anyone had any sales sucesses with other domain sales sites?

Does a domain name have to have traffic coming in to make it valuable? I have just bought a domain name to knock up a free dating agency to showcase development skills for jobs when i graduate. But i have been offered a job and now i cant be bothered to knock it up. I thought the domain name was quite good http://www.uksinglesonline.co.uk. I know the dating industry is quite big and i wondered if it would be worth anything?
