If both names are available, which one would you prefer from SEO point of view? I have found a key phrase which gets 71 daily searches according to Keyword Tracker and 128 according to Overture. It's made of 3 words and 15 letters.

If I omit spaces between the words then google is showing only 2 related sites and over 3500 with spaces included or replaced with a dash.

I have checked domain names with hyphens and without hyphens and they are available in singular as well as in plural forms.

Do you think any of them would get some type-in traffic making it worth $8.

any pro alive? Please help me. I have to choose the domain name before the domain registrar lock or acquire my key phrase.

Hi,

This is the exact same question that has been going on my mind. Can anyone please tell from thier experience on which one is better and why?

For the time being I have registered the domain without any dashes as it seemed to be too lucrative but I want to understand which is better.

Get the domain WITHOUT hyphens.

However, from a marketing point of view, get both.:) You don't want your competitor having the hyphenated version of your domain.

To check Google results for your keyword, you should use the phrase separated by spaces and within inverted commas.
E.g. if the domain in question is: DomainsForSale.com;
check Google for "domains for sale."

Would they get type-in traffic? That's hard to say but Overture does give an indication. Do a search for the domain with the extension on Overture.
