Lost domain - Help needed

My domain has recently been placed in redemption despite being renewed (or at least I thought it had) a month ago. Basically payment was made and I received two e-mails confirming payment and domain renewal for one year. This was through Redback Internet, however they seem to have a dispute with the registrar Total Registrations. So imagine my thoughts when my site "died" last Friday with no warning. The domain had expired and of course nobody will resurrect or admit fault.
Firstly I would like to advise everybody to avoid these two companies as I am not the only victim!
Secondly what should I do next? My rankings will slowly be going down the toilet and the two companies will not even deal with each other so I cannot even pay the £96 to get the domain out of redemption. Suggestions anyone?

hi buddy ... as you have said the domain is booked with total registrations.. since the company whom you have given the money seems to be a reseller they must have given you the domain control panel ... try pushing the domain name to any another registrar .. this works since i also once had a similar problem with my domain www.mastizone.com ... if it dosent work then i dont find any other alternative than to WAIT !!!

Don't have access to the domain control panel and waiting not an option as I have done too much work with the search engines, directories etc and the site worked really well before. Have made a fuss and eventually the £96 was accepted to get the domain out of redemption. Now I have to consider legal options (lost business, ripped off etc.)
