Default Multiple Domain Hosting

Hi,

I have had my domain name for a few years now but would like to build up some more sites with different domains. I would like to have all the domains hosted on one account though. I know this is possible but it seems quite expensive.

I am looking for something (if possible) under £100 a year - the cheaper the better (although that's not always the case unfortunately).

Preferably it would be unlimited domains, so if I think of one I like I can add it and build it up when I get the chance. I have a few .info domains to be transferred over as well. I am new to multiple domain hosting as you can probably tell.

Many thanks,

Alex

Default multiple domains

Because I am a stupid American, I don't know what £100 is, but I do know that my hostess here in the states had a clever idea for me. She moved all my domains to one large server and gave the server one of my domains names. I can now host up to 25 of my own domains myself within that one domain folder all for the price of that one big server. ($50.00 per month) Google ads have paid that cost easily!

Default Re: Hosting !!

Yup, that's a good idea too. There are dozens of companies offering unlimited domains hosting for less then $50 per month.

Don't those cheaper hosts charge more when you get a lot of traffic or give smaller space alottments?

Please name a few and I will go investigate

Default Parabola Studios

I've found These guys very flexable and competative with their pricing. In-fact I've not found any one less expencive with as many options as them.

http://www.parabolastudios.com

I host all my sites through them. And they are usually willing to work out special packages (outside of their pre-fab packages) for those who want to host more than one domain through one account. I am hosting two right now through the one account and all I had to do was ask. Never had any problems with them.

Regards,
Anthony

I've normally found this to be true... not with Parabola though. Just something to think about. I think they offer a 15 day money back guarentee if you are not satisfied with their services. Don't quote me on that though. I couldn't swear to it.

Snowflakegirl,

The amount was in UK 'pounds'. 100 UK pounds equals 180.759 US dollars.

Here's a handy currency converter tool:

You can say that again .lol.
Multidomain accounts are basically a balance. Many hosts do not encourage this feature cause too many domains can cause a heavy load on any one server.

Anyway $50 is too vague to compare. You gotta see the disk space you get as well as the bandwidth they provide. Basically this type of hosting is taken up by resellers like me. PM me if you wish more details.

Default Multiple Domain Hosting

This hosting plan is especially good for micro sites. You can host up to 200 domains for only $29 per month (basic plan). I’m not sure how much 29 "bucks a month" converts to in “quid per year."

Anyway, Alex, here’s a short list of hosting features:

Host 200 domain names
Unlimited disc space
Unlimited e-mail accounts
FrontPage server
No set-up fees
Instant activation
$9.99 for domain names
Single control panel for all domain names
An affiliate program

This hosting company is called New Web Site (NWS).

I hope this helps.

An American Genius

P.S. For free web hosting with no ad banners or pop-ups go to this generous UK company, Portland Communications. Only one catch, no FrontPage extensions.

Default Another Multiple Domain Hosting Option

I just found this website yesterday. It's titled "How to build your own webserver and NEVER pay hosting fees again!!."

An intriguing assertion.

Evidently, if you have an extra $30 you can purchase this merchant's software and host as many sites as you want "on your PC hard drive" without paying any hosting fees ever again.

The software is said to be "free." But the user manuals that the merchant wrote to help you install the software are for sale for $30 (that's about 15.68 pounds). Plus you also get a few nice bonuses.

Have a look, Alex. I assume the DIY in this domain name stands for "Do It Yourself."

http://www.diywebhosting.com

It's also a ClickBank product, so you can sell it as an affiliate. Use this url: http://www.diywebhosting.com/?hop=yourCBnickname
