Default Using Google Docs to Store Your Code Snippets

Well, I just started doing this and I'm glad I did.

As developers and programmers there are always times when we're not at our home/work computers but really need access to certain code that we've used before and would like to use again.

So what I'm doing is opening up Google Docs and storing important code snippets in a document and saving it. This gives me quick access to code snippets I might need in the future and also allows me to share those snippets with my friends as well or make them public.

Using Google Docs to store you code snippets comes in handy in such cirumstances like when you're at work (if you work for a company) and your boss or superior is hanging over your head - rather than 'search the net' for code that will work, you can open your Google Doc. and get the snippet from there. Grabbing code snippets from your 'personal library of code snippets' seems much more professional and organized then doing a search, clicking links, going back and searching again...

So the overall benefits are having quick access to your code snippets and being able to search for them in Google Docs. as well rather than having to search the web.

Do you store all these codes in large single file or you have created separate documents for each project you do ?

Well I like to organize them by title so I can find them easily by a search.
