Hope this is the right place to post this.
I am attempting to setup a subdomain. We currently have www.ampacet.com and would like to have a subdomain such as: customer.ampacet.com. I created to site in IIS and assigned the appropriate host header name, but the site would not respond. Is there something else I need to configure?

Hi Ed,
Can you explain how you assigned the host header name ? It seems the problem you have at the moment is that the customer subdomain just goes to your main site (www) right ? I think using host headers can be quite flaky at times. Do you have a public IP spare you could use instead ? |

Actually...
The problem that I had when I posted last week was that the customer subdomain could not be found at all. Finally tracked it down to the fact that my provider setup my DNS listing to only ampacet.com and www.ampacet.com I had them change it to a wild card...and now I will be able to direct everything to where I need it.
