Default Download.Trojan and ISearch toolbars anyone know?

I have had encounters with these 2 annoying programs on my computer and I don't know if anyone of you guys know more about it.

My anti-v was able to detect the Download.Trojan but wasn't able to successfully quarantine the file. Any information about this virus would help. Maybe a link as to what it does...?

With the ISEARCH, this toolbar was all of a sudden installed into my system without any warnings or anything. Anyone knows what this toolbar particularly does? I know it's a spyware and I was able to remove it but my concern is, what it really does? Compared to Alexa and others. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
