Whenever I try to manipulate more than a couple of pictures in a folder, my computer automatically copies it. I try to delete them, and it's like it's backing them up with more copies in the same folder.
Each picture is named "copy # of 'name of pic' ". As in "copy 7 of alice1.jpg". I'm just viewing and adjusting the pictures in MyDocuments/My pictures, I'm not using a seperate program. I've tried to find a setting to change and I can't find anything. Help! edit: I just realized I may have put this in the wrong section. Feel free to move it if need be. This is only a guess..
You said you are not using separate program. My guess is the program your using can not overwrite an existing file. So it creates another one. Check the permissions of the folder and also the setup of what ever program you are using as it maybe set in it to not overwrite. |
