Default searching only from a list of sites

I never usually post in this forum, im a search engine optimisation dude, so stick with me!

I have a spreadsheet with 300/400 dofollow blogs which i post on for my client. There are so many of them that i am able to keep the comments relevant and all data concerned is relevant to both sites. Which is great! the only problem is that it takes a bit of time finding the most relevant posts. I need some way to search only these dofollow blogs and view results which are relevant for the keyword that im pushing for the client, for that day.

So, to clarify. Today im working on a firesafety website and i need to find all the posts within my dofollow blog list that are semantically relevant to "fire safety" (with the same semantic evaluation as google). How can i do this?

Hi Inertia
I think you could use Googles Custom Search for that. You can make your own search engine and then have it search only the sites you want. One big bonus will be you can add the list as a csv (I think) or at least format it to one url per line and add it that way.
I have one I built for a craft site that only searches aussie craft sites.
Hope that helps
Naz

Hi Naz,
This worked really well! Ive setup an engine which searches all the dofollow blogs that ive come across. Theres about 360 in the site list and if i want to find some relevant blogs to post on for my clients all i have to do is search!!! Its too easy!

Cheers!

There are quite a few others that have had the same idea. Ill just have to make sure my list of sites is up to date and better!

Heres the URL: DoFollow Blog Search

Feel free to contribute by letting me know about blogs in the list that have added the nofollow tag back on (which quite a few of them have!) or if you find any new dofollow blogs.

Peace!

oh nice! I accidentally clicked the volunteer button and was logged in lol so you will get a request from me (an aussiecraft email). But if I find any you don't have I can add them anyway. I actually clicked to see what the process was as I think I have it turned off on mine: Craft Search
