Unhappy Wireless range issue

Hey. I've got a wireless range issue, and was wondering if anyone out there would know of any way to fix this...

I get my internet from an external building, and can only receive a minimal signal (one bar) where I have my computer. Is there any way (inexpensive) that I can boost the signal strength from the wireless router to my computer? (and no I can't move my computer into the other building)

I have provided a pic of my issue below...

Any help would be appreciated.

The best place to start is your router. Check if it's not placed in an unlogical spot that could block the connection, like in a closet surrounded by metal objects. You can also try and build your own antenna out of household waste, or make a reflector, things you find guides for on the web quite easily enough.

My guess is (no offence) that your trying to 'borrow' your neighbours connection
There are antennas out there to enhance your wi-fi reception, the limit is how much time and cash your willing to invest in this.
