With premium domain names continuing to represent some of the most valuable Asia Domain Name Registration Limited DN Journal has reported on some of the highest selling of the past week.

The website notes that a recent auction put together by domain names trader Moniker/T.R.A.F.F.I.C saw a number of high value acquisitions, among which was the sale of DVDs.com which was purchased for $300,000.

In the same event it was reported that Hoax.com changed hands for $70,000 as well as Gags.com which was acquired for $45,000.

Also reaching over the $40,000 marker in the past few days was GreeceHotels.com, which sold at an auction arranged by Sedo for €31,000 ($48,397).

The website adds that high prices were also paid for premium domain names such as MaidServices.com and GreenPackaging.com.

DVDs.com is currently parked and hosting links to the official HMV Website as well as a number of other home entertainment retailers.
