Impressive. Wonder what the cost per disc will be.

It says later in the Q&A section of the article. Initial cost for the drive will be $3,000 and each 600GB disc will cost $30-50. That's extreme early-adopter prices, those will come down over time.

Wonder what data is so large that it requires that kind of storage? You could probably fit large chunks of the internet on it....
