Default Driver 930-enu.exe for HP Deskjet 930c

I have had to install a new HD to my wife's computer. On trying to install the printer (HP Deskjet 930C) I run into the usual problem of being constantly timed out trying to access HP's driver site.

Is there by any faint chance someone out there with the HP driver 930-enu.exe for this machine lurking somehwere in their archive please?

If so I would really appreciate a copy to my personal email address.

If it's over 10Mb I do have hjsplit.

Many many thanks in advance.

Default HP drivers

Thanks for the response. In fact in the last few minutes I have managed to resolve the issue - by disabling my anti-virus before trying to connect to HP.

That begs the following two questions:
  • Does HP want us to risk our security so that they can dump something on our computers? or
Does my anti-virus think HP's website is as dodgy as one or two other bits of supposedly legitimate software?

Now there's a thought or two.

Default HP is not alone anti-virus before trying

HP is not alone in expecting anti-virus to be off before trying installing software. This may be your anti-virus or may be HP, or may be Windows.

Remember to turn your anti-virus back on.
