Default Internet Explorer Mystery

Not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the following means: When I enter my url into IE as the page is loading, in the bottom left corner next to the IE symbol where it will usually say "done", at first displays " .1 " then it displays done. Does anyone know what this means?

Thanks.

This is happening in all your loading pages?
Can be a javascript ... if is for specific page. But in the same time can be a worm or a trojan what are scanning your loading page.

Default all the pages

I was begining to give up hope....but anyway, I appreciate you taking the time to try and help me. It is on all of the pages and I do use a javascript menu on all of the pages. The site is hosted through another company so I do not know what type of scanning software they use. I will look into the javascript though, thanks for posting.
