Default Problem with Arial Font on PC

Hi all

For some unknown reason, I can only use Arial (font) in bold, italic or bold and italic. Regular has disappeared altogether. As a result, because I use Arial for everything, I can only view my documents in Italic or Bold font which is doing my head in.

I have tried copying my husbands Arial font on his PC and transferring it to mine but that don't seem to work either.

Has anyone had this problem before or know someone who has and how did you/they resolve it.

Any help would as always be gratefully received (before my head explodes).

Many thanks

Forget it. Sorted. My transfer method did work. I forgot that in order for any changes to take affect, you have to close Microsoft programs and then Open them again.

Apologies and feel free to delete this thread if need be.
